The Blueprint launched this data dashboard in late April 2023. Now anyone can access local, state, and national data in one place for poverty, food access, food insecurity, SNAP and WIC participation, child nutrition, and public perception around hunger in Colorado.

This new bilingual tool was done in partnership with the Colorado Health Institute and the Blueprint’s Data & Evaluation Commitee. It showcases publicly available data and will be updated at least annually.

Want to learn more about the dashboard and how to navigate it? Watch the webinar recording and view notes from the launch meeting.

Here’s some feedback from those using the dashboard:

  • “As a nonprofit reliant on grant funding to provide meals, we are SO GRATEFUL for this data!”

  • ”We have been trying to work on something like this locally, but it has been so tricky and this level of sophistication would have been way out of reach. So very exciting to have this shared resource!”

  • “So excited that the dashboard is now live! Thanks for all your work to create it.”

  • “I’m really looking forward to digging into this data to support grant writing. This data will help put food in bellies.”

We hope it's useful for community-led organizations in framing the issue and applying for grants as well as for state partners looking to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. It also can keep us all focused on the key benchmarks that will help us move the needle to address hunger across Colorado communities.
